Deshmukh House in the bedroom
Manav and Archana are in the bedroom.
Archana: You have hurt me so much today Manav. I have never been this hurt before.
Manav: Archana this was not my intention.
Archana: I don’t know what your intention was Manav but I just want to ask that do I not have a right to know about Ovi? Do I not have the right to be with my daughter in her happy times?
Manav: No Archana.
Archana: No Manav I know very well you don’t care about my happiness but at least my daughters Manav. Today my daughters mean a lot to me. My daughters might not be in my life but they are still a part of my life. Sachu comes into the house.
Archana: My Ovi is going to be a daughter in law. Manav you did not do good at all. It was good that DK sir came and I got to know about Ovi’s engagement. I am such an unfortunate mother as I can’t fulfill the duties of being a mother. Archana stops.
Archana: I’m sorry Manav. Maybe I don’t have the right to get mad at you. Forgive me. Sachu hears this from the main room. Archana leaves the room. Manav goes immediately to the other bedroom. Sachu sees Archana in the kitchen and he goes inside the bedroom and closes the door.
Deshmukh House in the bedroom
Sachu: Baba I know why you are very sad. Baba do you know what your problem is? You are very good hearted and you think whenever something goes wrong you think it is your fault. But you are not wrong this time.
Manav: Archana is not wrong either Sachin. I know you hate her a lot but don’t forget that she has raised you when you were little. She used to take of you and help you with school, education, exams and health. She has loved you more then a real mother. You have Archana’s values instilled in you and you should never forget that. Sachu stands up.
Sachu: Forget me but what about Teju and Ovi? Has she ever tried to get to know about how Ovi and Teju are? She put the responsibility on you and forgot her own, she legally gave up her responsbility Why does she want to know about them? Manav goes to Sachu.
Manav: Dear it is true that Archana gave me custody for Ovi and Teju but for a mother legal papers don’t matter and she just wants her children and their happiness. To hear about your daughter getting married is very happy news for a mother but if this happiness is hid from her then she will be mad. That is why Archana is justified in being mad at me. She gave birth to Ovi and Teju and she has the right to know about them as much as I do. I made a very big mistake by not telling her this. Who am I to snatch away a mother’s rights? Don’t worry Sachin I did not feel bad at all about the accusations Archana put on me because I know wrong. Manav leaves the room. Sachu is looking disturbed.
At the Airport
Savita Damodar and Ovi are going to the airport to check in.
Savita: We are going to India after 18 years. I will give Manav a surprise right? Ovi thinks to herself oh no what do I do? Aaji is so excited to see baba but only I know what is going to happen. In one minute aaji’s excitement aaji’s excitement will turn into disappointment. Ovi gives the passports to the check in attendant and she says sorry, there is a problem.
Savita: Why? What is the problem tell me. I have a passport I have my ticket. I’m going to meet my son Manav Deshmukh. He is a big businessman. I’m getting late.
Ovi: Aaji one minute. What is the problem?
The attendant: This passport has expired so we can’t let you go. It’s illegal.
Savita: nothing is illegal everything is legal.
The attendant: Maam have a look. Ovi checks the passport and sees that it’s illegal. They are asked to leave. Savita gets very mad at Damodar and blames him for not being able to go to India. Ovi is trying to calm her down but Savita keeps on arguing with Damodar.
Ovi: Grandpa what will happen?
Damodar: Do not worry. I will renew the passports. You go with your aaji.
Savita: I am not going anywhere. This all happened because of you.
Damodar: Why? I also wanted to see Manav.
Savita: Quiet. She is getting late.
Ovi: Aaji but what about you two?
Savita: Do not worry. Cal me when you get back. Savita and Ovi hug.
Karanjkar House
Sulochana and Teju are at their house.
Sulochana: No Tej you will not drive the taxi.
Teju: Aaji please you are saying this because of the accident? But it was not my mistake.
Sulochana: I don’t know if it was your mistake or if it wasn’t. I just know you had an accident and had to go to the hospital. How can we assume that what happened last time will not happen this time?
Teju: Aaji please.
Sulochana: Tej!
Teju: Ok I will return the car keys tomorrow.
Sulochana: I really don’t have a right to stop you but you refer to me as aaji. How do I make you understand? I can’t see you in any pain. Teju goes and gives Sulochana some tea to drink.
Teju: I can’t disobey to anything you say. Because I have never disobeyed my aaji in Canada either. Just once.
Sulochana: When?
Teju: When I wanted to come to India. Actually my aaji in Canada was not in favor of me coming to India but I lied to her and I suffered the consequence for it. This is why I don’t want to disobey you. Aaji I was as excited about coming to India as I am now to drive a taxi. It was my passion to come to India and drive a taxi. But my happiness does not mean more to me then yours. But what if I stop driving the taxi and you get sad?
Sulochana: You don’t understand. If I am telling you to stop then why would I be mad at you?
Teju: Aaji you are not understanding. You love me a lot s if you prohibit me from driving a taxi then I will be sad. Then if you see me sad then you will get sad. Then when you see me sad you will give me permission to drive a taxi so how about you just give me the permission today?
Sulochana: Tej.
Teju: You can’t see me sad right? Say yes.
Sulochana: You know your aaji’s weakness very well. Ok if you want to then drive the taxi. Teju gets happy and hugs Sulochana. She accidentally spills Sulochana’s tea on her clothes. Sulochana is calling for Purvi to clean it up but Teju tells her that you sent her to the market to buy vegetables. Sulochana realizes this.
Outside at a market
Purvi is at a market. She is paying for some vegetables. Purvi is remembering Arjun telling her that he loves her. Purvi is reminded by someone to pick up her vegetables before leaving. Purvi does so and she remembers Arjun asking her if she loved him and Purvi had said no sir! I don’t have any feelings for you and I don’t love you. Arjun suddenly appears out of nowhere. Purvi sees him and She is about to leave when Arjun stops her.
Arjun: How long will you keep lying to me Purvi? Just ask your heart once. Arjun suddenly disappears. This was Purvi’s imagination. Purvi is walking on the road and she remembers when Arju nwas asking her why she was refusing but your eyes show you love me. A car suddenly gets close to Purvi and Purvi imagines Arjun coming right in front of her. A man comes and reprimands Purvi for walking on the road and asking her what if a car came and hit you? Purvi says sorry. The man leaves. Purvi walks over and she imagines Arjun on the other side of the road. Purvi is walking down a small narrow alley and she imagines Arjun there. Purvi keeps walking down the alley and she keeps picturing Arjun standing right in front of her. Purvi is remembering Arjun asking her if she doesn’t love him then he will go to Canada. Purvi imagines Arjun again.
Arjun: Confused? You must be as you don’t have the answer to your questions. I will help you. Purvi is looking around to see Arjun but he is not there.
At a temple
Purvi is going to the temple. She is going to do her prayer. She is remembering the time she went to the temple with Arjun. Purvi prays Shivji what is happening to me? Why am I thinking so much about Arjun sir? What does he mean to me in life? He has given me 24 hours to think. He wants me to think about him but should I? I have so many questions. I always feel something is wrong but what is it? I know there can never be a relation between us. Purvi starts do a prayer and she remembers telling Archana that she would pray that her parents come back together. Archana had told Purvi that she had prayed that Purvi gets a boy who loves her. Purvi sees Arjun coming to the temple. She gets very mad to see him. She hides in a corner so Arjun can’t see her. Arjun is doing his prayer and Purvi is watching him from behind.
Precap: Archana and Purvi are at the Karanjkar House. Purvi says aai what is the saddest thing that happened in your life? Archana says I wish I had stopped Manav 18 years ago Purvi to go to Canada. I lost Manav and my children.
